Pricing
Websites
We currently offer name registration (.co.uk) and a
basic hosting package for £75 per year.
Content can depend entirely upon how much you wish
to spend, from one basic page upwards but based very loosely on £50-£100
per page – subject to content and on the premise that all content is supplied to a reasonable standard. However, we are more than happy to help with the preparation of both written and image content and even recommend an effective site structure but not without additional charge.
SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) and online marketing is negotiable depending
on the competitiveness of your particular industry and nature of your product or service but we can generally
work to a minimum £75 per month with joint reviews after every 3 months.
Server-side functionality – such as shopping
carts, secure payment facilities, forms and search features –
varies greatly in cost & complexity and will affect cost accordingly. More complex functionality such as a Content Management System (CMS),
ie: one where you can update at least some part of it yourself - or
a MySQL database-driven site, start from £600.
Ultimately a website can cost as much as you want it
to and I'm happy to work within the tightest of budgets. There are that many variables though that we simply prefer
to sit down with the client, assess their requirements and determine
what specific functions they would like their site to perform.
We will then supply
a quote based on that discussion and recommend ways in which an effective
site can be developed, optimised and managed within the constraints. Websites are always evolving and can never be left as "finished" products so staged builds help spread any cost.
General design rates
All estimates are based on an hourly rate of £20/hour but I can be flexible particularly on larger projects or regular work because my studio is cosy and overhead-free.
If you would like a free quote or initial meeting just give me a call or send an email.
